Nicole always knew she wasn't built for the ordinary script.
As a kid, her dream job was game ranger, life took a different road, but the pull toward wide open spaces never left. These days she spends her weekdays as a remote executive assistant to a director in the UK, running someone else's world with precision and calm. Her weekends tell a different story: rustic campsites, her and her husband Armin's faithful Jimny, and a 4x4 club that's become a second family.
Nicole is the one who takes a hundred scattered ideas and finds the thread that ties them together, part strategist, part visual storyteller, part translator between a big philosophy and something people can actually feel. She's the calm in the chaos, the one who'll capture the golden-hour moment while everyone else is still fighting with tent pegs, and the one who'll quietly find the smartest way to get something done when everyone else insists it's impossible.
She grows her own herbs (when the monkeys don't beat her to it), makes a lamb curry worth driving for and firmly believes coffee should be avoided at all costs, chai only, thank you.
Her three-week road trip from Richards Bay to her own wedding in Knysna, followed by a honeymoon at the Jimny Gathering (where she and Armin walked away with a grand prize of R80,000 in Jimny upgrades), is basically WanderWild's origin story in miniature: take the long way, make it beautiful, and let the adventure surprise you.
Her philosophy is simple: work smart, not hard and if something seems impossible, that just means the way around it hasn't been found yet.
